Jason Newman

President

Jason is the Founder and President of UPG, guiding the company with a commitment to delivering exceptional, tailored insurance solutions. With a finance degree from Appalachian State, Jason began his career in a life insurance agency in Charlotte, where his expertise in employee benefits led to remarkable business growth.

His pursuit of new challenges brought him to a national general agency, where he managed their Charleston, SC office for seventeen years. In 2015, Jason founded United Producers Group (UPG), channeling his passion and experience into building a firm dedicated to providing customized insurance solutions for individuals, families, brokers, and business owners.

Jason’s leadership is the driving force behind UPG’s success, ensuring the company continues to excel in delivering high-quality, personalized insurance services across the board.

Outside of his professional life, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristen, and their two children, Byers and Georgia Grace. Whether he’s on the water, coaching sports, or enjoying time at their family farm in North Carolina, Jason applies the same dedication to his personal endeavors as he does to leading UPG. He also shares his insights on various insurance company advisory councils, contributing to the broader industry.

Tim Dasinger

Director of Individual & Senior Markets

Tim has been in the health insurance industry for almost two decades. Born and raised in North Charleston, Tim now lives in Summerville with his wife Jennifer, their three daughters, and their lively pets.

Tim specializes in Medicare, Prescription Drug Plans, and health coverage for individuals and families under 65. His focus isn’t on pushing products but rather on finding the right plan that fits his clients' budgets and works for their needs. He is committed to building lifelong relationships, not just making one-time sales.

Roger Garner

Director of Individual & Senior Markets

Roger is a seasoned insurance professional with 22 years of experience, specializing in Medicare and individual ACA plans. His career began in 2002 at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, where he quickly established himself as a reliable expert in the industry.

Throughout his journey, Roger has helped thousands of individuals and families navigate the complexities of Medicare and individual ACA plans. From his early roles as a customer service representative and COBRA administrator to his influential position as a retail sales manager, he has consistently demonstrated his dedication to client satisfaction.

Currently residing in Travelers Rest, SC, Roger enjoys spending quality time with his wife Kristin and their three sons. When he's not assisting clients, he can be found cruising around in his Jeep, exploring the scenic beauty of the Smoky Mountains, or honing his golf skills.
